Contract Manager (Connections) - Standard - 2-year fixed-term
As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for a Contract Manager - Connections (Standard) to step into a key role within our Connections team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
You'll play a hands-on role in delivering new network connections for housing developments, subdivisions, and upgrades across residential and commercial projects. This is an opportunity to combine field-based work, customer engagement and problem solving while helping shape how connections are delivered while contributing to lifting how we work through more efficient and streamlined approaches.

The role
- Lead end-to-end delivery of network connections across housing, subdivisions and developments
- Act as the key interface for customers and stakeholders, guiding them through the connection journey
- Assess connection requirements to deliver safe, compliant and practical solutions
- Solve complex, real-world challenges to keep projects moving forward on the ground
- Build strong, trusted relationships across customers, contractors and internal teams
- Drive smarter, more efficient ways of working by improving systems and processes
About you
- Significant experience in a similar role or environment (infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction) with a New Zealand Electrical registration or equivalent
- A good working knowledge of electricity networks
- Ability to make robust decisions with strong communication skills
- An understanding of the NZ Regulatory environment, in particular the Electricity Authority - Code of Compliance
- A high level of attention to detail, computer skills and a customer centric approach
